If you are reading this article, that means you have recently switched over to TouchPoint Sites- and for that we're thankful!
As you probably know, whenever you move your website from one platform to another (i.e. from Wordpress to TouchPoint Sites) you have to log into your host domain provider (like GoDaddy - or wherever you bought your website domain) and update the DNS settings for your website domain.
This is pretty simple. All you need to do is...
Update your domain’s CNAME and two A Records to the following values:
CNAME
For an existing CNAME with a prefixed host name of ‘www', please delete it and create a new CNAME with the following information:
Host = www
Points to = s.multiscreensite.com
1st A Record
For the existing A records, please delete them and create these 2 records instead…
Host/Alias = @
Target/Destination = 35.172.94.1
2nd A Record
Host/Alias = @
Target/Destination = 100.24.208.97
(Tip: Some domain hosts will not allow you to set up multiple A records for the @ domain. If this is the case, then add one record for the @ domain and include both IPs.)
That's it.
Usually within a few minutes your website domain will be up and running on the new platform.
SSL Certificates will be automatically generated as well.
